- Privacy.
- Confinement.
Considering this, what is the advantage of having iCloud?
iCloud syncs your data–including contacts, videos, and music–across all of your devices. So while being able to listen to my music on my phone and Mac make my life a little easier, being able to access documents and contacts across any device makes doing business faster and stress-free.
Beside above, how reliable is iCloud? In day to day use, iCloud Drive earns its keep by becoming this invisibly reliable source for keeping all your work with you, wherever you go, and it is tremendous. So long as you only use Apple devices — and actually, so long as you don't look too closely.
Then, can iCloud be trusted?
The simple answer is that your data is at least as safe as it is when stored on any remote server, if not more so. All data is transferred to computers and mobile devices using secure sockets layer via WebDAV, IMAP, or HTTP.
Should I use iCloud or not?
If you do choose to use iCloud Photo Library, you'll likely need to pay for iCloud storage space to properly save all your images without clogging up your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Once you do, you'll have access to all its backup benefits along with its automatic sync across devices and sharing service.
