Keeping this in view, how long after laser eye surgery can you wear makeup?
Your eye will be thoroughly cleaned prior to surgery, however it is recommended that you avoid wearing makeup on the day of your surgery. After your surgery you should deter wearing eye makeup, for example eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara, for as long as possible but you must wait at least a week after surgery.
Similarly, how long after PRK will I see clearly? By four or five days after surgery your vision begins to clear up, although it may takes several weeks to a month to become excellent. Visual clarity and crispness after PRK continue to improve for three to six months and then stabilize.

How long do I wear sunglasses after PRK?
❖ You may experience increased sensitivity to light for the first few days after your PRK procedure. The sunglasses provided in your “post-operative care kit” will help with this. Sunglasses should be worn for at least 3 days following your procedure.
